Strengthening Conservation Through Community and Care
At Profectus Capital, we believe in creating impact that goes beyond business. Through our CSR partnership with Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve Conservation Foundation (TATRCF) we’re proud to support key initiatives that promote both wildlife protection and community well-being in the buffer zones of the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR).
Mobile Health Units (MHUs)
In collaboration with TATRCF, primary healthcare services are being delivered to 29 villages in the buffer zone through Mobile Health Units. These efforts are enhancing access to essential healthcare and fostering stronger ties between local communities and conservation.
Health Check-ups for Forest Frontliners
Members of the Special Tiger Protection Force (STPF) play a critical role in safeguarding our forests. A comprehensive health check-up was organized for 250 of these dedicated foot soldiers to support their health and well-being.
Wildlife Monitoring
To better understand and protect the region’s wildlife, especially tigers, new camera traps have been deployed across the reserve. These tools are helping track animal movement and inform more effective conservation strategies.
Support for Primary Response Teams (PRTs)
PRTs are groups of motivated local youth working to reduce human-wildlife conflict in buffer zone villages. Around 200 PRT members across 42 teams have been equipped with kits including uniforms, caps, torches, and more—enabling them to carry out their duties safely and effectively.
